Messengers of good food

LILY'S is responsible, social and fast. So is the messenger bag we have designed for them; Packed with function, user-centricity and coolness. Delivering mouth-watering food straight into the living rooms is a life style, not a chore.

Building on the previous messenger bag, we have conducted user research and field studies to gain a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of messengers. Through this process, we have identified several pressing requirements that have emerged as key areas for improvement: shifting the bag's center of gravity closer to the spine, reducing the number of compartments to align with actual average delivery volumes, and minimizing weight.

Additionally, we decided to separate the bag and the harness, providing an added advantage in terms of hygiene and odor control for messengers during deliveries and at the point of delivery.

Archaeologists can distinguish between females and males, in part, by examining the hip bones. Female hip bones are broader and the pelvic girdle is wider compared to their male peers. When designing a messenger bag for all genders, it is crucial to consider this difference. As messengers carry the backpack on their backs for several hours, females often experience discomfort when the backpack rubs against their higher hip bones. With our new messenger bag for LILY'S, we have addressed this challenge by integrating hip padding, providing enhanced comfort for individuals, in particular females.
