Dominic Sturm

Dominic is an industrial designer and design strategist with over two decades of professional experience. He is the founder of FOND Design and has held key leadership roles within the Swiss design community, including serving as President of the Swiss Design Association (SDA) from 2018 to 2025, and continues to serve as a board member. He advises Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council, and has contributed his expertise to national and international juries such as the Swiss Technology Award, the James Dyson Design Award, and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Alongside his practice, he is an examiner in industrial design and design management at Zurich University of the Arts, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and the School of Design Zurich and Graubünden. He is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration in Brand Management and Communication at the University of Berne, with a focus on brand-driven product design and the strategic positioning of Swiss brands in the premium segment.
