Getting the sausage party started
For MIKAS - Zurich's hippest sausage maker - we have designed a clever packaging concept that focuses on the essentials: the sausage! Honestly, delightfully, and vividly, the packaging presents the sausage as the centerpiece.
We found the end of the sausage particularly interesting, where the drying process or the cut leaves visible marks, revealing its true character. We have created a focal point by incorporating a peephole in the packaging. Our goal was to use minimal materials, keep the packaging affordable and free from unnecessary embellishments. The vacuum packaging adds its own appeal, and we enjoy the contrasting reflections against the uncoated paper. Each sausage is a one-of-a-kind creation that deserves to be highlighted and given center stage
